Personality:
Easy-going and pleasant, can be prone to laziness. She's introverted when you first meet her but lets her silly out eventually. Loyal and genuine. Artsy-fartsy.

Background:
Born in upstate New York, but her parents are from the area around Elkhorn. Her grandfather still lives there on a large corn farm just about an hour outside the town.

She became orphaned when she was about 5 years old. When visiting her grandfather's farm over the holidays, a night trip into the town ended in both her parents being mauled to death by what police said was a uncommon bear attack. She only survived due to locals hearing the screams and calling the police. Her grandfather took the job of looking after her and her younger sister(who, an infant at the time, had been napping when they decided to take their trip).

Her Grandfather allowed his two grandchildren the opportunity to go to an all-girls school a few towns over where they lived on campus during the school year and stayed with him on his farm for summer break. It was here that Jayne aquired her taste for the arts.

Once puberty hit her Grandfather, who had a suspicion(he's been in Elkhorn all his life and knows a bit of the were lore) of what Jayne could become due to the circumstances of her parents death, forced Jayne to come home after she had gotten into a fight at school. This was very unusual for his soft-hearted and very-friendly granddaughter, and upon the bloom of the full moon shortly after, his suspicions were confirmed - Jayne's parents did not meet a bear that night, and his poor Jaynie had only survived to become the very thing that had killed her parents.

Her turn was overwhelming at first - Jayne was no longer the even-tempered person she once was. She felt uncontrollable, dangerous - but with the help and acceptance of her Grandfather she's learned to embrace the new side of her. She's even come to enjoy the simplicity of her animal mind, and often uses her were-form as a means of stress relief.

She now resides on her Grandfather's farm, tending to him as he ages. Her sister has moved back to her parents home but visits often, but does not know her secret. Jayne fancies herself an artist and sells watercolor paintings in town. She also frequents a few quiet bars and entertains the locals with her violin.

~ The scar on her nose is from the attack on her when she was 5 that turned her - she has more scars on her body but in he were/animal/Guardian form her fur covers most of them. The fur on her nose is short so that scar is visible

Character use information: Members are more than welcome to use Jayne in any challenges. Just note me with what and try to keep her with all limbs intact. You can rough her up, but nothing really permenant or life-altering please. She actually has a knack for being in the wrong place at the right time.
